Return and Refund Policy

Effective from 1 January 2026

Overview

Due to the perishable and custom-batched nature of ready-mix concrete, our return and refund policies differ from those of standard retail products. This page outlines your rights and our obligations regarding order cancellations, quality concerns and refund eligibility.

Order Cancellations

You may cancel an order without charge if cancellation is received at least twenty-four hours before the scheduled delivery time. Cancellations made less than twenty-four hours before delivery may incur a cancellation fee to cover batching and logistics costs already committed. If concrete has already been loaded for delivery, the order cannot be cancelled and the full invoice amount will apply.

Quality Concerns

All concrete supplied by Clustries is batched to the specifications agreed at the time of order and complies with relevant Australian Standards. If you believe the concrete delivered does not meet the agreed specification — for example, incorrect slump, strength grade or aggregate type — you must notify us within twenty-four hours of delivery so that we can investigate.

Our quality team will review batch records, delivery documentation and, where applicable, arrange for independent testing of the concrete. If the investigation confirms that the product did not meet the agreed specification, we will offer one of the following remedies at our discretion:

  • A replacement delivery at no additional cost.
  • A credit note for the affected portion of the order.
  • A refund for the non-conforming product.

What We Cannot Refund

We are unable to offer refunds or credits for the following:

  • Concrete that has been accepted on site and placed without any quality concern being raised at the time of delivery.
  • Issues arising from improper placement, finishing or curing practices that are outside our control.
  • Colour variation within the normal range for decorative concrete products. Natural aggregate blends inherently vary from batch to batch and from the display samples shown in our showroom or on this website.
  • Excess concrete ordered beyond what was required for the project. We recommend working with your contractor to calculate volumes accurately before ordering.

Bagged Products

Unopened bagged concrete products purchased from our facilities may be returned within fourteen days of purchase, provided they are in their original, undamaged packaging and accompanied by a valid proof of purchase. A refund will be issued using the original payment method. Opened, damaged or partially used bags cannot be returned.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If goods or services we provide have a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. If the failure is minor, we may choose to repair or replace the goods rather than provide a refund.
